Nuplas Solutions were delighted to welcome QED, our on-ground operations partner in Banyuwangi, Indonesia, for a visit and a strategic direction meeting to plan our operations over the next 3–5 years. Prior to launching our pilot operations in August last year, we conducted a comprehensive feasibility study and research on the impact of fishing net pollution across Indonesia and Malaysia, supported by our CSIRO grant. As our research partner, QED coordinated engagement with hundreds of fishermen, providing critical on-the-ground insights. This visit reinforces our commitment to scaling sustainable solutions across ASEAN, turning plastic challenges into meaningful environmental and social impact.
